Abstract

The world’s oldest business profession is unique in many ways. One of them is that it has probably been illegal since its very inception, during our cave man days. It is time, it is long past time, that prostitution were legalized. Deontologically, justice cries out to the heavens for this eventuality. As well, utilitarianism is allied in this regard: legalization will safeguard the women of the night, their clients, and the general public to boot.
