Abstract

This article applies Ayn Rand's Objectivist philosophy to business ethics. The author's basic thesis is that the core of business is moral, which is a distinctly different starting point than that taken by so many other writers on business ethics, who start from the premise that business is, in principle, either immoral or amoral, and that ethical behavior is the exception rather than the norm.
